Daily Online Newsletter for Teacher Stuff

Previous Newsletters -  Feb 11    Feb 14

Hope that everyone’s Valentine’s Day was a happy one. I saw a friend without a smile yesterday and sent her a Valentine’s card from "Someone who Cares." She spent the day searching for the person that sent the card. No one admitted to sending it but they all said they cared too. She had a happier day and never knew who sent the email greeting card. If you see someone without a smile send them a free greeting card and make their day. Why can’t everyday be a Valentine’s day or a special day.

Free All Occassion Cards Large assortment of free greeting cards from humorous to sentimental cards. All Cards are free but first time users must register before sending the cards. The graphics are great. Remember to send your cards early so that your loved ones will get them in time. Cheer someone up today with these free greeting cards.

Some days it takes me longer to find the resources for this newsletter. Today was one of those days. I had to read everything I found for these pages and naturally I had to do not one but several of the puzzles listed (last link in this section). It was so much fun it took me a long time to get on with writing this newsletter. It is probable that I am still a kid at heart.

U.S. Department of Energy site provides information on Internet hoaxes, chain letters, Internet cookies and a Virus database. I think it is important to know what is a hoax and chain letter. So many people send on chain letters and hoax letters without even knowing that they are doing so. This site is great because it is updated almost daily and allows one to know what is going on with chain letters, hoaxes and what virus is out there. As a computer user this site is an important one to bookmark and go back to often.
